My Story

My musical journey began with a humble melody sung in the choir of my local church. From those early harmonies, my passion for music blossomed, nurtured by my grandmother's decision to enroll me in piano lessons in 2005. As the keys became my companions, I delved deeper into the world of music, participating in honors choirs, choir camps, and competitions throughout my upbringing.

Fueled by an unwavering love for music, I made the choice to pursue it professionally, earning a bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance. Throughout my collegiate years, the stage became my second home, with memorable performances in productions like Gianni Schicchi, The Magic Flute, and numerous choir showcases.

Driven by a thirst for growth, I sought to refine my skills, undertaking classes to enhance my abilities in accompaniment and the teaching of diverse musical styles. This dedication led me to acquire a certificate in Contemporary Commercial Music from Shenandoah University in 2022.

Since 2018, I've had the privilege of sharing my passion with students of all ages through private lessons. Witnessing their musical journeys unfold has been the most rewarding aspect of my career. From nurturing the budding talents of 5-year-olds to guiding the aspirations of young adults, I am continually inspired by the progress and dedication of my students.

My ultimate goal with every student is to instill within them the skills and confidence to become independent musicians, capable of playing and creating music without the need for constant guidance. Together, let's cultivate a love for music that transcends the notes on the page and fosters a lifelong journey of musical exploration and expression!
